Decent doctors although walking into a hospital you wouldn't expect to see blood on gauze pads. I give the docs a 4 star but clean wise I give it 2. Bugs and blood
The nurses I've dealt with so far for 2 days got 2 weeks to go are really nice and helpful! Well thought was 2 weeks left we've now been here over month but I can still sAY the nurses are great that work here! Some I think that deserve naming only giving first name but if you happen have be here Jessica, Lauren, Misty, Angel, Great nurses! Hope for them! I Dont know all their names but all that work in this department that I've met do a greAT job! Rns, Lpns, & the Cnas
As a new employee, Simpson General is one of the best hospitals I have ever been involved with. The doctors are excellent to the patients, as well as the rest of the staff. All patients get treated with the most efficient care available today. The hospital really focuses on making the patient feel as comfortable as possible and aims at bringing each patient to full health.
Took my 2 year old to this ER because I thought he had strep throat and his doctor was booked and it was awful! Doctors were rude, the staff all together was rude, and it was the absolutely filthy. What's even worse is that they couldn't anything wrong with my child, but took him the next day to his doctor and he had strep throat! I will never use that ER ever again!
I took my 2 year old here because she cut the “meat” part off of her finger(green bean can).. anyways. They were quick to get us back and within minutes everyone that could have been in the room, was. However, the doctor did NOT know what he was doing. I understand it being hard to stitch a small finger.. but he could barely get the stitch started period. Then he told my baby to “alternate Tylenol and Motrin”.. (pictures are attached) my baby girl needed relief and Tylenol wasn’t going to cut it. I asked and asked and he practically refused to give her anything. So after two days of my baby crying nonstop, not sleeping and barely drinking.. I took her to the clinic across the street and got her some medicine (and also some crazy looks when they saw what my baby’s finger looked like!!)... so two more days later.. same thing(screaming, crying, saying her finger hurt) i took her to Batson. Y’all.... the pictures will speak for themselves. I will never go to this “hospital” again.
